San Jose Rock N Roll Half Marathon --(10/03/2010)

一年一度的 San Jose Rock N Roll Half Marathon 又到了 , 這是我第三年參加這個比賽,
今年 Yi 矢言要打破我去年的紀錄,Kai 也忍不住我們一再地誘惑,
總算也報了名來參加,我呢?我早就打算把這個比賽當作年度的測驗,
看看一年來到底進步了多少,所以我們三劍客總算能湊在一起跑一個大比賽了,
真是令人高興。

雖然說已經參加過許多比賽,前一天晚上我還是興奮地睡不著覺,在床上翻來翻去,
想像著隔天的比賽,會是怎樣的情況,該如何配速,會有多少辣妹參加....
就在我總算耗盡了所有想像的情境,開始有點睡意的時候,鬧鐘居然在這時候響起,
沒想到已經是早上4點半了,因為一整個禮拜因為腰痛沒有運動,
所以比賽前想來做個全套的拉筋,避免等一下因為跑步而受傷,犧牲點睡眠也是值得啦,
接下來的準備工作也不少,先換上隱形眼鏡,然後在膝蓋跟髖部的關節都塗上 Bangay 軟膏,
腳掌跟腳指都塗上凡士林,以避免起水泡,然後穿上雙層防水泡的襪子,
戴上護膝,再把褲子穿上,去年我穿的是CW-X的緊身長褲,今年沒那麼冷,
我怕到時候太陽一出來反而會有散熱問題,所以今年就穿短褲吧。
上半身就比較簡單一點,只要是排汗的T-shirt就行了。

6:40分,Kai 跟 Yi 來接我,今年老婆打算睡飽了再去找我們,反正比賽離我家很近,
就不用跟我們到現場吹冷風枯等2個小時,如果又沒幫我照到像,可能又要被我唸個半天,
我想想也對啦,精神好一點,眼力也會變好,說不一定就能照到我了,
所以我們三個選手就先行出發...今年我們也特別提早出發,以防去年因為路上塞車而
引發的跳車事件重演,今年沒有司機,遲到了可不能跳車了。






到了比賽現場,果然是滿山人海,氣氛就是不一樣,
一些人忙著做暖身,一些人忙著吃早餐,
也有些三三兩兩的人聚在一起聊天,
甚至有些人已經都開始跑了起來,
想在比賽前先把身體弄熱,準備好好大幹一場,
我們也趁機會趕快上廁所排掉一些重量,把夾克跟毛巾放到寄物區,
然後趕快到起跑區集合。
今年的起跑區是第三區,非常的前面,可以直接看到起跑線,果然在這裡看到的人
跟之前完全不同,想判斷一個人跑得快不快,看他身上的裝備就知道了,
在這一區的人,有一大半的人身上都是不帶水的,那是因為他們已經練到不需要喝太多水,
就能跑完21公里了,省下來的重量都能讓身體更輕鬆,跑更快,相較之下,
我身上帶著護膝,兩瓶水,8 oz , 手機,照相機,隨身聽,還有兩包GU ,
怎麼看都跑不快,沒辦法,跑不快,總比跑不完好,至少今年得破去年的紀錄才行。




 



起跑囉!!

就在一位不知名的女生,唱完整首走音不斷的國歌之後,等待已久的時候終於來了,
起跑槍聲響起,兄弟們衝阿!! 往日練跑的情誼也在這個時候忘的一乾二淨,
我跟Yi 不顧 第一次參加的Kai, 槍聲一響,就把他給拋在後頭了,直接往前衝,
Kai 真是抱歉了。

一開始的速度大概是7:45 / mile 跟我平常練習的差不多,今天我還特別穿了 Nike Glide
看在它只有 8.4 oz 的重量,能不能在速度上有點幫助,(結果反而變成了多事)
今天的Yi 果然還是吃了藥,跟練習的時候判若兩人,這個速度他居然很輕鬆地跟著我,
而且還一路一直揮手跟旁邊加油的人群打招呼,看到他的樣子,
我就知道他又因為比賽而變身了。
可能是因為我太久沒跑,一開始雖然覺得還好,但是到了2英里之後,我就覺得不太對了,
總覺得心跳一直上升,雙腿也比平常僵硬,為了控制心跳,我不得不稍微減速,
調整步伐,看看能不能讓整個身體先熱起來,到了4英里的距離,速度降到8:00/mile
趕緊吃了一包GU,才稍微一晃神,就發現 Yi 居然已經開始加速,從半個身體,到一個身體,
幾分鐘之內,我已經看不到他的背影了,還有12英里耶,這也太強了吧,
果然是他一貫的比賽作風,超人出現了。

不管他了,我得好好控制自己才行,不然一不小心可能就得停在路邊喘大氣,
看著別人一個個超過自己,跑完8英里,情況果然不對,奇怪,到底是什麼問題,
慘了,原來是鞋子出了問題,這雙Nike 居然會讓我的小指頂到鞋子的側邊,
而且是兩隻腳都有相同的情況,隨著每一個步伐的撞擊,指甲出血的痛從腳指開始蔓延,
先是腳掌,然後傳到大腦,我試著把音樂的音量開大聲,讓自己分散注意力,
又趕快加碼吃了第二包GU,似乎有點幫助,讓我又推進了2英里。

過了10英里,花了1個小時21分,算是我最好的成績之一,但是接下來的3.1英里,
我知道就是阿鼻地獄了,先是速度降到8:30/mile ,每踏出的一步,都是一陣劇痛,
好像穿著拖鞋跑步一樣,完全感受不到鞋子的彈性,
於是我試著縮小步伐,在降低腳的衝擊,跟維持速度上做一個平衡的調整,
我很怕因為強迫加速而導致抽筋,還是心跳的瞬間上升,
接著我找一個跑在我前面的辣妹,慢慢地跑到她的身後,
然後很用力地看著她姣好的背影,開始我的吸星大法,
吸取這位跑步的美女散發出的費洛蒙,看著她金黃色,上下擺動的馬尾巴,
豐滿的雙臀帶動著修長的雙腿,優美又強而有力地往前跑,
我試著引發我體內原始的獸性,在心裡默唸著,跟上去,跟上去,希望能激發出我體內
的腎上腺素,動情激素,什麼素都好,都通通給我發出來就是了,
 嘿,似乎真的有用耶,速度回升了,腳也不痛了,
這時候我也看到12英里的牌子,
哈哈,太好了,只剩下1.1英里,於是我先超過了前面這位美女,
(用完就丟,真是抱歉了,老婆說路邊的野花不能採),
接著換回原來的姿勢,這時候也故不得什麼腳痛,還是哪裡痛了,
就是撐住幾分鐘而已,終點馬上就在眼前了,
這時候觀眾的加油聲也越來越大,Go, Go Go, you are almost there !!
 是阿,我知道,我又快要創造歷史了,跑阿,繼續跑阿,絕對不能停!

到了最後100碼的直線加速,我知道這時候再快也就是幾秒鐘的差別而已,
我反而放鬆心情,用自己自認最優美的跑步姿勢,跑過終點,
因為這裡照相機最多了,當然要讓自己看起來帥氣一點。

哈哈,差強人意的1:47:35秒的成績,雖然不太滿意,但是帳面上至少還是比去年快,

更重要的是,在終點線等著我的老婆跟女兒,今年終於照到我了!

什麼酸痛都沒有了,Allison也一直高興地叫著,爸爸加油,爸爸加油。

後記

大會成績:1:47:35比去年快了差不多1分鐘
Yi跑出超人般的 1:42:44 (要超過這個成績可有得練了)
Kai 跑了1:58:55 雖然跑到10英里的地方發生腿抽筋,還是跑出了2個小時以內的成績,
算是非常不錯的第一次。

因為最近捲入連續的倒楣事件的漩渦,就在比賽前的一個禮拜,把腰給閃了,
導致兩個禮拜沒有練跑,看來這種賽前的小心準備的態度也是非常重要,
平常真的是太不用心,沒有好好照顧身體才會這樣,
另外賽前換鞋更是大忌,不知道我自己在想什麼,才會導致有這種從來沒有過的傷害,
明年可不能再犯相同的錯誤。

San Lorenzo River Half Marathon Trail Race (06/13/2010)

I know what you guys are going to say about this.
I really should blamed that Coastal Trail Running Club which made this race too attractive , the river crossing part was so tempting that I even changed the distance from 10k to half marathon.
How could I miss that! It's trail running + river crossing we are talking about here.
Even though I just finished a half marathon race last weekend 460 miles away. Haha..

San Lorenzo River, it was located in Harvey West Park, Santa Cruz. It took us 40 mins
to get here, not very far from where I lived. Another good place to visit in the future.
Because of this river-crossing, I was thinking
for days about how was I going to pass the river smoothly without getting my running shoes wet, and getting my feet injured in the water. Initially, I planned to  pass the river barefooted. But since I had my Nathan backpack, I should be able to carry a flip-flop.
However, the night before the race day, out of no where, I changed my mind again and decided to bring my Crocs with me by using my running belt.
As you could see in the picture, I had my Nathan running backpack plus the Crocs on my belt. As it turned out, I was over-concerned ! I was the only one who brought extra shoes for the race, kind of sissy ? 



Race started.

As soon as the race started, my legs gave me the sign of fatigue right away.
My calf were so tight that I ran only about 4 miles, I felt like I was going to cramp already.
Therefore I kept trying to distract myself and paid my attention to the girls in front of me...


The distraction trick was kind of working, but somehow she started to walk on the first
hill of the route, well, I had to say good-bye to my little helper.







I can hardly catch my breath , but running in the red wood forest was so amazing. It made
you feel like you were in a "Zan" state , forgot all the trouble and just blended yourself into the forest. But, still, my legs was hurting me ....


Finally, the first downhill was ahead of me, I could even smell the river .. within seconds,
I was on a small beach, and ready to crossed the river.

So, I chose a rock to sit on, and started to take off my shoes. Runner 1, 2 jumped into
the water non-stop.
Then, I took out my Crocs and tied my running shoes around my neck. Runner 3, 4
jumped in the water non-stop.
I took out my camera, and started to walked slowly into the river. Runner 5, 6
arrived and walked right behind me. They were still in their running shoes.
After I crossed the river, I took out my towel , wiped my feet clean, and changed
my running shoes back. Runner 5, 6 passed me, and runner 7, 8, 9 just crossed the river.
Anyway, I was finally ready to go, more people were coming ..

The river-crossing part was so..so..cool, thank God I didn't run the 10K, or I would be
too bored to death. The water was deeper than it was described on the website, I was all wet from waist down, include my ipod !! Because the music suddenly stopped when I was half way cross the river. But it felt very good ~~~~
I can't remember when was I last time in the river like this.

I finally made it to the turn around point and was not dare to stop, cause I didn't want to lose the momentum.
My legs were shaking and started to getting heavier as I tried to step forward...
Yi abandoned me after we crossed the river on our way back, somehow he just could climb the uphill
non-stop while I could only try to walk to keep up.  However, the big difference from my previous races was, I didn't let anyone pass me this time. Just kept pushing myself, ran if I could, walk while I still could but never stopped and rested. I believed I even passed one guy on my way to finish line !!
Anyway, another great and fun race was collected.

Some great runners were worth mentioned and showed my respect.  A group of people who were
in their 50's ran the 50KM race and finished the race in 8:25:20 !!!  Wow ~~~~

Horseshoe Lake half marathon race report (05/23/2010)

Another great trail race I joined this weekend.
The race was actually located in Skyline Ridge Open Space Reserve
I was kind of worry about the weather. By far, it was totally unpredictable.
Two days before the race, we were still have a lot of rain, and it was almost June!!
Not to mention the temperature was around 40F at night. It seemed like we have 100 days in Feb this year.
Fortunately, the cloud went away on Saturday, and we had a no cloud clear sky Sunday.

In order to get a 10% off group discount, we invited our old friend, Tim,, to join us. Tim usually focused on road running, he liked to run marathon on the road. It's good he decided to join us this time for some trail running, it did help on his training as well.

More than 200 people joined this race, it was a sold out race. The trail running did getting more and more popular. I was really glad to see that.

8:20am, people started to gather around. The route was a little bit different from before.
it had 9 miles route, and a 5 miles route. For people who ran 5 miles, they would start at
the other direction, for the rest of the people, they would start at the 9 miles route first.
Then continue the 5 miles loop, if you were running half/full marathon. Or came back to starting point if you were running 9 miles race.

At 8:30am, the race started, the trick of trail running was, if you wanna run fast, you had to get ahead of the crowded people before the group entering the trail. Because usually the trail was single track and there was limited space to pass the person in front of you, not to mention to adjust your own pace with some laggers ahead. Well, unless it happened to be a hot girl, it was another story.



Tim said, "hey man, it's half marathon, we should run slower in the beginning".
My experience was, if you ran slower, it would be difficult to catch up, somehow your mind and strength would wear out, especially your mind would start to tell you to slow down or even to walk.
So I just keep my pace steady and stayed close to the person in front of me. Right after we entered the trail,
it was so narrow and the group was forced to become single entry mode, and when we hit the first hill, the traffic started to jam. Tim started to walk right away, but I felt I could still breath smoothly, I had to leave him behind.
What I liked about this trail was, it was not terribly steep, and all the hills were runnable to me.
 It was also a perfect weather for a race, a lot of sunshine, but cold wind, low temperature. All the good factors added some points to this race and made it very enjoyable. At some point I almost forgot I was in a race.

Because the two routes are all go-and-return, it was not easy to get lost and you could always see a lot of people on the trail. Personally, I liked this arrangement better than
a loop route. At least, I had a chance to see people's face, not just their butts.

The first aid station was also the returning point, this was the only place I saw Yi, then he was out of my sight again. He was running 9 miles only, but I still had another hill to climb. I had to control my pace. I took a breath here and saw more people coming behind me, okay, pressure on..

I started to feel tired on my way back, it seemed the GU hadn't taken effect, this was the critical moment for me, my brain started to tell me to stop, take a break. In fact, this was not true, I could still run, just I needed to hang on a little bit longer. Then, out of nowhere, I could feel the energy to keep on running again. I called it GU magic.

 It took me about 1:23:47 to finish the first loop. the second loop was even steeper. Now I already got used to the 150/min heart beat and switched to another gear. Thanks to the cold weather, the last 4.8 miles was almost under the sun. The view was fabulous, single track climb into the forest, down to a lake side. After entering a small tunnel, it was another open space called: Russian Ridge.

The trail became wider here, but a little bit rocky. With some beautiful wild flowers on the side
, rolling green hill, and blue sky. I couldn't ask for more in this race. The return point was around 2/3 of the hill, to tell the truth, I was relief when I saw the turn around sign. If it was on the hill top, I would have started to walk. I met Tim on my way down the hill. He was still smiling.....haha..

Down hill was not all that easy, I used a lot of energy to break and my legs started to shake.
A little cramping on my right calf forced me to slow down, and this costed me a lot.
I was passed by 3-4 people. And finally, i saw the parking lot, the last down hill, I just let the gravity took me to the finish line.

Final time: 2:15:57 . Number 5 in my age group.

The trail was located in Sky Ridge Open Space Reserve. I definitely will come back here to run again.

San Jose -- Rock `n` Roll 1/2 marathon (10/05/2008)

這是我參加的第二個半馬拉松比賽,也是今年的最後一個吧,非常有名的

"聖荷西搖滾樂半馬拉松大賽"

顧名思義,也就是一邊比賽一邊有搖滾樂幫我們加油囉。既然地點都在家附近了,

這次當然就全家出動,一起來加油,享受現場熱鬧的氣氛,

這次一共有13個當地搖滾團體,分別在一路上每一英里的地方,搭起台子,就地演唱起來,

而且比賽活動是早上8:00起跑,也就是說,住在賽跑路段的居民早上7:30就會被陣陣搖滾樂的

聲音給吵醒了,哈哈,不知道他們是覺得有趣,還是擾民....

比賽一共有12000人報名,跑完全程的有9千多人,可以想像場面的浩大,整條馬路都是人,

跟不絕於耳的搖滾樂....

有了八月舊金山比賽的經驗之後,我的信心增強很多,上次的目標是要跑完,

這次的目標是跑進2個小時,因為這次的路段完全都是平路,怎麼看都比上次簡單。

因此這段期間我們不但是加強訓練,也上網研究了很多關於賽跑的資訊,

從飲食,運動飲料,到裝備的選購,都慢慢開始有專業的味道,

通常比賽是這樣,你先網路上報名之後,比賽的前一天就得親自到一個會場去領取

號碼牌跟衣服,叫做 Expo ,而通常當天也會有很多贊助廠商,送一些衣服啦,吃的,喝的啦。

所以 Expo 是一定要去的,這樣才能拿到很多免費好康的東西。










這裡可以免費拿加油版,等比賽當天可以拿著在路邊加油。

當然,我連續兩天都去 Expo ,拿到了三件排汗衣,兩件普通的 T-Shirt,跟一大堆的健康食品

的Sample. 怎麼說呢,免費的東西用起來就是特別爽。

比賽當天,快要接近市區的時候,就已經開始塞車了,天阿,放眼望去,可說是人山人海,

繞了一下子才找到停車位,好處是,今天停車免費,於是我們找了個離起跑點不遠的地方,

把車停好,就開始往起跑集合的地方前進,每經過一個街口,就會看到很多人,

有的為了暖身已經跑了起來,有的很認真地在拉筋,做伸展操,有的則在聊天,

很有節慶的味道。

天氣很冷,硬是被我們叫起床的Allison還有點神智不清,不過看到那麼多人,她也開始慢慢覺得
有趣。

我們已經進入起跑區,這時候已經很多人在熱身,廣播也開始講著這次有那個有名的人來參加,

他的紀錄是多少,等等.....



好了,準備起跑了,大夥都非常興奮,槍聲響起之後,所有的人就開始往前推進,

一旦經過起跑線之後,就會開始計時....

起跑是我最享受的比賽片段之一,當太陽還藏在大樓的背後,只射出幾道光線,氣溫還非常的低,

幾千人一起在街上,摩拳擦掌,蓄勢待發的那種氣氛,雖然冷,卻感到熱血沸騰,

很有那種戰士要出征的味道,衝阿,衝阿......



首先,0.5英里左右,路邊已經開始有加油的樂隊出現了,天阿,才剛開始跑,
我已經開始覺得有點喘了,果然在這個預計2個小時跑到終點的group,大家的實力
真的都不錯,難怪我沒辦法像上次那樣悠哉地拿相機起來拍.....




路上果然都能聽到陣陣的搖滾樂,到了這裡,聽到的是一個有女主唱的樂團,
四英里了,我們準備跑回市區,然後在往另一個方向跑過去。

可是就在我們到達這裡之前的20分鐘左右,跑最快的領先群已經跑回來了,
當然,大部分都是肯亞來的選手.....看現場的你就知道他們真的跑得很快,
我算了一下,他們一路上幾乎用100公尺16~17秒的速度,跑完21公里....
他們真的是人嗎?不是什麼穿著人皮的花豹?



一路上,當然有很多啦啦隊在幫我們加油,有些商家也免費提供飲料讓我們自己隨便拿,
絕無冷場啦。



再來看看一個路上的片段,已經忘了這裡是幾英里了。


一路上,我們完全是脫稿演出,本來說好一開始一英里先跑個9分多鐘,

然後再把速度慢慢加上去,但是,沒想到,跟著人群跑的結果,

第一英里就花了8分45秒,跑太快啦,雖然一路上試著把速度稍微放慢,

但是還是不由自主地加快,我心想,糟糕,這樣會不會到了最後出現問題,

可是我又很想拍照,一邊跑又很不專心地看著路邊,然後拿起相機到處拍,

果然在跑到10英里的時候,我突然覺得雙腳沒力,明明都還喘得過來,

可是就是使不上力氣,大腦就開始對著你說:休息一下啦,休息一下啦。

我找了一下張逸,沒想到,這傢伙居然悶不吭聲地就開始加速起來,

喂喂,我想叫住他,可是太吵了,他又帶著隨身聽,

試著加速跟上他,想叫他慢一點,但是,好像指令傳達不到腳上,

算了,不理他了,我心想,

這時候需要的是控制住速度,最後三英里要撐過去就沒事了。

撐過去?要怎麼撐阿,好累喔,真想休息,

於是我趕快找眼前的目標,放眼望去,剛好看到那個舉著2:00牌子的配速員,

好,我就先跟著她,這樣子一定就能跑進去2個小時。

雙眼用力地瞪著她,看著她的腳步的速度來調整我自己的,

恩,還不錯,有點效果,試著不要去想腳很累的這件事情,

也開始用肚子的力量來舉起腳,跟腳掌的力量來推進,看能不能讓小腿休息一下,

這是一種很微妙的感覺,我也說不上來,當你試著要這樣做的時候,

似乎雙腳就不那麼累了。

接著我把步伐放大一點,重心往前,頻率放慢一點,讓呼吸能夠不要快起來,

慢慢地,我能夠拉近跟配速員的距離,而就在12英里的地方,我居然超過她了,

哈哈.... 當然這時候的張逸已經不知道跑到哪去了。

超過了之後,我馬上又找了一個新目標,再度跟著跑,

撐下去,撐下去......呼呼,呼呼....

跑完之後,主辦單位會給選手很多免費的服務,先來個冰毛巾,運動飲料,水果,優格,
蛋糕,麵包,我還得去要個紙箱才能裝的下去那麼多東西,我們馬上就地野餐起來,

回到家才發現,我們都忘了照一張跑完步的全家福!

解釋一下好了,一共跑完的人有:9622人,我跑了第2284名
男生一共4221人,我跑了第1681名
30~39歲的男生有766人,我跑了第340名
AgeGrade : 51.9% 意思是,
30-39歲裡頭,跑最快的人的成績/我的成績 = 51.9%

後記:
事後,我對於張逸在最後三英里還能衝刺,一直耿耿於懷,
一定是他找到一個跑得很快的美女,然後忘記疲憊就跟上去了,(當然不是那樣)
我想,我還有很多地方需要克服,這次做錯的幾件事情,一個就是配速錯誤,
一個就是跑步不專心(這個很難改,不然就沒影片了)
,另一個就是水分,電解質補充不夠。
休息了一個禮拜之後,當然我們又回到每週一次的例行性練習,
然後準備找下一場比賽,應該就是2009年了。
總之,這次的比賽就在震耳欲聾的搖滾樂聲中成功地結束,我們全家也度過了一個美好的星期天。

這一天終於來了,心情就好像小時候第一次要去遠足一樣興奮,雖然嘴上說只要能跑完全程就好,

但是,我還是暗自希望能在2個小時10分之內跑到

根據平常的練習,我已經很確定自己要跑完應該沒有問題,

但是對於在不同於平常的跑步時間跟完全不熟的路線地形,

誰會知道到時候會發生什麼事情,不過,男人老了就是穩重一點,

也不會想太多,反正,就是照著平常的速度跑,絕對沒錯,

該衝的時候,就是咬緊牙根,衝就是啦。

雖然隔天一大早要比賽,前一天晚上洗碗哄女兒睡覺的工作也不能偷懶,隨便弄也拖到快12點才把東西都整理好,

果然還是有點緊張,睡不太好,2點多起來一次,3點半左右鬧鐘還沒響,我就已經睡不著了。

起來在家裡多摸西摸的,隨便弄點吃的,也不敢吃太多,只要肚子不會餓就行了,

再次檢查一下裝備,確定該帶的都帶了,摸黑就往張逸家集合...

哈哈,結果沒想到Crissy比我們還緊張,說她一個小時起來一次,看來真的很有比賽的氣氛...

在車上本來想小睡一下,後來還是聊起天來,一直聊著不知道會是怎樣的狀況,

越聊就越興奮起來。



這是我們在車上,正準備要前往舊金山市區。




天色還沒亮,我們已經到了Bay Bridge下面的停車場,很多人陸續都來了,第一波出發群已經起跑了,

我們參加的是第五波出發群,也就是預計自己大概跑2個小時~2個小時20分的人,其實後來才發現,

現場根本就是隨便的很,你愛什麼時候跑都可以,甚至不用報名也能跑,只是最後沒正式成績而已,

氣溫還蠻低的,我冷得一直做暖身運動,就怕到時候身體跑不開....

好不容易買好停車票,上廁所的人居然也大排長龍,我們只好又跑回停車場的流動廁所排隊,

至少人少一點,等到我們終於能夠去集合了,卻因為人群太多而找不到本來的出發群,

只聽到遠方傳來,Wave 5 is about to start in 15 secs. 挖哩咧,

根本來不及出發的我們只好留在Wave 6 ,也就是再晚20分鐘出發......



出發前15秒錄影,終於,在主持人大聲的宣布之下,我們出發啦,半年來的努力,就看今天了。



這裡是出發1英里的地方,晨曦中的魚人碼頭.....

當然,今天跟平常不一樣的地方就是,我拿了台攝影機一路邊跑邊拍,這麼重要的場合沒有拍個影片作紀念

實在是太可惜了,但是我又不能停下來拍一拍再起跑,這樣子絕對會造成配速錯亂,所以只要讓畫面盡量平穩

旁白盡量清晰囉。



出發兩英里,到達巧克力工廠前面,突然發現前面跟右邊有美女出現,想直接拍又不太好意思,

只好鏡頭掃過一次,算是有拍到啦,接下來前方馬上就有補水站跟流動廁所,

居然很多人就停下來喝水上廁所了!!才跑兩英里耶。



跑過 Fort Mason 的上坡之後,發現,居然有人穿著驢子裝跑步!!哈哈,真的是太好笑了,

路上引起很多人的注意,他老兄似乎也樂在其中......





離出發四英里多,

接著我們來到了藝術宮,因為角度問題,所以只能讓你們看到一瞥,過了這裡,就進入了Crissy Field

這裡好像是個以前軍營的樣子,海邊也是個玩風浪板很有名的地方,風開始大了起來,金門大橋就在前面了。



離出發六英里多:

經過了一段頗長的上坡路段,很多人都已經放棄,開始用走的了,我們則是放小步伐,用小跑步的方式,

來克服這個上坡,說真的,還是不要去想到底上坡還有多久才會結束,我也不敢跟張逸聊天,就怕不小心岔了氣,

就得停下來了,只是一心想著就要上橋了,看著眼前越來越近的金門大橋,到了上坡結束的路段才敢開始拍影片,

就要過橋了,開始興奮的起來,因為這就是我們這一趟的目的:在金門大橋快車道上跑步!!



上橋囉,不過,喘喘喘,講話都開始有點不順暢,都是因為之前那個上坡的關係,這裡風很大,因為身體已經熱起來,

所以不覺得冷,反而覺得很舒服。



因為只有一個車道,所以造成大塞車,常常要注意前面人的腳,以免被踢到,還有從身邊超車過去的人,

速度很難控制,忽快忽慢的,加上路面也不太平,剛剛才有一個小妹摔個狗吃屎,我想那一定很痛。



七英里:
補充體力的時間到了,拿起放在腰包上的Power Gel,一邊跑,就一邊吃了起來,這不是什麼類固醇的禁藥啦,

只是一些電解質跟維他命,醣類的補充包,效果跟吃香蕉差不多,但是我總不能帶根香蕉跑步吧,太遜了。

根據平常吃的經驗,吃完要30-40分鐘才有效果,所以這個是支撐我在10英里到終點,最後五千公尺衝刺用的,

非常重要,因為最後那一段是體力流失最多,意志力快要用盡了,雙腳已經是慣性地在動著,

絕對不能停下來,不然一停下來,馬上就動不了了。








繞過金門大橋的折返點,再度跑過金門大橋,旁邊的阿伯突然跑出來說:good job!!

大概是覺得我這樣邊跑邊拍很厲害吧,其實,真的厲害的是我前面這個穿白衣服的阿伯,

我想他看起來應該有70了吧,居然能跑到這裡,天阿,我70歲的時候還能走就已經很偷笑了吧,

而且他真的跑得不慢耶,這時候腳痛已經開始很明顯了,反正跑到快10英里的時候,

不是這裡痛,就是那裡痛,一定會有個地方開始痛,不過這次痛的地方居然是左腳的腳掌,

每一步都是一陣酸痛.....



終於跑過了整個金門大橋,路邊還有人在鼓掌,本來以為從這裡開始都會是下坡,沒想到,

這裡才是惡夢的開始,最後的4英里有2/3都是上坡啦。




哈哈,終於追上羅馬武士了,沒想到他居然能跑到這裡!張逸還說他是要叫人家捐錢.....




我居然撐過了前面的魔鬼上坡,雖然也有下坡,但是非常陡,跑起來反而累,膝蓋承受的壓力很大,

路上我記得看過11英里的牌子,跑了很久,就是沒看到12英里還是13英里的牌子,眼看著進入了金門公園,

張逸早就已經不知道跑到哪裡去了,這時候我的腳根本就是劇痛,注意看鏡頭的抖動,就知道我此時已經是

一拐一拐在跑,真的是自虐阿,終點你在哪裡阿?



好吧,終點在前面耶,剛看到時還不敢相信,趕快把相機拿出來,衝阿,衝阿,其實根本已經無法加速,

這時候的感覺真的很奇妙,雖然腳很痛,可是卻很高興,一種很想大聲呼喊的衝動!

這就是我的成績單了,出乎意料的好,我還以為跑了2個小時20幾分呢?

因為後來我的左腳掌非常地痛,我都不知道我是怎麼跑完最後2英里的。

隔天到公司我還特別把選手牌掛在辦公室臭屁一番,同事們都很好奇地來問

當天的情況,哈哈,算是也滿足了自己小小的虛榮啦。

總歸一句,就是爽!

到了這種年紀,還要證明自己很厲害,就是要多參加這種類似的活動吧

張逸則是已經報名了下一場比賽,

還說,十月五日聖荷西半馬比賽要跑進2個小時喔。

看來,今年的下一個目標又有了。
